They have done an outstanding job in providing information about their officers and the clubs  There data includes current and vital phone numbers, email addresses, and information about meeting dates. The site is updated almost daily, and they have utilized well a template type site which is easy to handle and update. Someone new to Nevada should have no trouble contacting like-minded Republican women who are working to elect Republicans to office. http://www.nvfrw.com President:  Lynne Hartung Site maintained by member Nancy Dallas: nancyd@highlandswireless.net    March 22, 2010 NFRW Winning Web of the Week Washington Federation of Republican Women www.WFRW.org   The Washington Federation has created a most informative and attractive website with the intent to use the growing popularity of the internet to provide a central place where members and non-members can quickly and easily find timely information about the Federation and the member clubs.  It is impressive that this site is frequently updated daily or at least weekly which is MOST important.  Upon opening the home page, visitors instantly read all about the next upcoming events and do not have to wonder through various pages to search for this information.  Information on upcoming events, bylaws, newsletter, addresses of board members, and informative articles by Committee chairs or WFRW officers are also featured.  One of the major highlights is the effective use of photos including the officers and board of directors featured at the top of all pages.  This is much more appealing than the standard template women photos seen on so many sites. There are also fun photo pages, such as the Snow Page created after the big storms last winter. Last fall the WFRW webmaster added a temporary special section featuring favorite book reviews by the Washington State Attorney General, Secretary of State and National Committeewoman to showcase the NFRW Literacy Month.    This website is one more tool to assist the Washington Federation in marketing and communication. It is definitely an asset to the Federation.  Congratulations to Eileen Sobjack, President of WFRW. who submitted this application. March 8, 2010 NFRW Winning Web Wood County Republican Women, Parkersburg, West Virginia  .www.woodcountyrepublicanwomen.blogspot.com The ladies of the Wood County Republican Women saw the need for a presence on the internet and responded with a blog that is informative, updated frequently, and a delight to read.  They have incorporated numerous photos highlighting their activities (from participating in their state federation’s day at the legislature, to folding flags for the pocket flag project, to hosting events and forums where voters in Wood County can learn more about candidates). Their blog is also visually appealing. This is another fine example for clubs in the NFRW who are considering how to take advantage of the opportunities of the internet without spending big bucks on webhosting. website design and maintenance.  Thanks to Club President Deidre Lake , who also maintains this BlogSpot website for their club. February 22, 2010 NFRW Winning Web of the Week Darke County Women’s Republican Club, Greenville, Ohio www.darkegopwomen.blogspot.com Congratulations to the ladies of the Darke County Women’s Republican Club in Greenville, Ohio, on utilizing the technology of blogs to create their club’s website.  They have included photos of past activities and invitations to future gatherings. They have also included numerous links to websites that may be of interest to those who visit.  This is a good looking site that is visually appealing.  Take a look at www.darkegopwomen.blogspot.com Club President Margaret Muhlenkamp has verified that this is the official website of the club.  Publicity Chairman/Blogmaster and club member: Barbara Martin What a great start for a club that is beginning to use the internet to reach out to existing and prospective members.  Google Blogspot offers templates and user-friendly tools so clubs can quickly and easily design and maintain a page without special training.   September 28, 2009 NFRW Winning Web of the Week Northwest Orange Republican Women Federated of Florida "Women Making a Difference"   www.norwf.org We are proud to announce that the Northwest Orange RW Federated of central Florida has been selected as the NFRW Winning Web of  the Week. This site is not only clean and easy to follow, but it also covers every area with current information. This site has very professional eye appeal and is loaded with outstanding current news including the Washington, D.C. Their effective use of photographs is outstanding.  And did you notice the great photos/smiles?  The Events page gives the basic info (when, where, how much money), plus it provides a link to make lunch or dinner reservations. Please take a look at www.sdfrw.org . This is a fairly new site for the SDFRW.  The committee was impressed with its eye appeal, ease of navigation and their clever use of Mt. Rushmore! The events are very current and all of their links work -- which is vital.  Many thanks to  South Dakota Federation President Cynthia Matson for submitting their application.          June 22, 2009 NFRW Winning Web of The Week Prince William Republican Women Congratulations to Prince William Republican Women's Club in Woodbridge, Virginia for having the NFRW Winning Web of the Week.  The committee found this to be a delightful and engaging website which welcomes the viewer to check out the pages and scroll through the wealth of information here. The generous use of color and appropriate graphics to break up the text is very eye appealing. Their use of a "business connection" page to generate the revenue to fund the website is most interesting.  Ruth Anderson is President of the PWRW Club and Vice President Janet Gorn is webmaster. Please take a look at  www.pwrwclub.com.            June 8, 2009 NFRW Winning Web of the Week Republican Women of Trussville, Alabama The NFRW Winning Web of the Week is proudly awarded to the Republican Women of Trussville, Alabama.  These ladies have developed a very interesting and informative website in a relatively short period of time.  Be sure to take a look at their Trussville Tea Party website and the powerful "An American Anthem" video by Justin Holcomb on their home page. Justin is the teenage son of one of their members.
